Authentic Beef is a family owned and operated ranch located in the Pristine Wet Mountains near Rye, Colorado.  Our beef is from our closed herd of Angus cattle, and is USDA inspected and approved.

We raise our cattle using rotational grazing management with NO grains, NO antibiotics, NO hormones, NO pesticides, NO herbicides, and NO artificial fertilizers. Our cattle are NOT fed any animal by product feed, and therefore do not run the risk for contracting mad cow disease from this source.  This practice is best for the animal, better for the environment, and produces a healthier beef product.











We are working hard to provide our customers with a safer alternative to “industrial” supermarket beef.
At Authentic Beef we are striving to bring our food “back home”, to get people in touch with their food sources and the importance of supporting a way of life that has worked well for centuries. Today our foods are being altered, genetically modified and combined for consumption in ways that were never meant to be.
We believe in each person getting connected with their own food supply and the faces that produce it for them. Supporting local community economies and producers is the best thing for us all as the hidden costs of “industrial foods” will prove to be to high a price to pay.
